COPA CITY is the first game where you step into the shoes of not a coach nor a player, but an organiser of major football event. Your journey and path to glory begins long before the referee's first whistle!

So many games have let you lead your favourite clubs to glory on the pitch. Now it's time to see the football world from an entirely different angle! COPA CITY introduces a completely new dimension of sports gaming – organising major football events. Step into the role of a City Captain and take control of everything that happens off the field. Build infrastructure, manage logistics, and create an unforgettable football celebration long before the first whistle.

Welcome to a world where details matter and every decision has consequences. Easy to jump into for football enthusiasts, yet offering an immersive and engaging experience – perfect relaxation even for strategy veterans, though without the micromanagement of typical tycoon games.

Are you up for this challenge?

Truly authentic locations will become your playground, each with their own challenges and opportunities. Cities differ in their number and characteristics of districts, transportation layout, and cultural specifics, which directly impact your gameplay.

Build specialised infrastructure modules that create synergies and increase your event's effectiveness. Develop public transport networks connecting city districts and transform strategic locations into specialised fan zones inspired by and modelled after real sporting events. Manage urban spaces to satisfy visiting fans while also considering the needs of local residents, who aren't always happy about the football invasion.

1.

Strategic spatial planning – Transform districts into specialised fan zones for different supporter groups

2.

Advanced public transport networks – Optimise connections between venues and accommodation

3.

14-day preparation cycle – Each day brings new challenges, an operational briefing and crucial decisions

Face a multi-layered economic system where you manage three key resources:

1.

Money – Your event budget for infrastructure and operations

2.

Specialists – Professional event staff with unique abilities

3.

Volunteers – Local community support that reduces costs but requires management

Attract multiple fan groups with different priorities through marketing campaigns and strategically position them throughout the city districts. Each of the three fan types – Ultras, Core Supporters, and Families – has unique needs and expectations that you must meet to achieve maximum Match Readiness – the key to your success as a host and an organiser.

Plan and coordinate complex aspects of logistics:

1.

Dynamic fan territory control – Manage areas dominated by supporters of different clubs and their movement through the city

2.

Balancing security and entertainment – Maintain order while allowing fans to celebrate their passion, despite budget and space constraints

3.

Transportation optimisation – Prevent congestion and potential conflicts between rival team supporters

4.

Dynamic events and modifiers – Respond to unforeseen situations from sudden weather changes to disruptions in logistics

Legendary clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Arsenal FC, and FC Bayern München – each with unique philosophy, traditions, and fan culture – entrust you with taking care of their supporters. Adapt to each club's specific requirements:

1.

Bayern Munich fans with their famous "Mia san mia" philosophy ("We are who we are") want to proudly and loudly display their colours – prepare for a sea of red, traditional chants, and make sure to stock up on Bavarian sausages and pretzels!

2.

Borussia Dortmund supporters expect you to recreate the "Yellow Wall" atmosphere – energetic, loud and visually impressive

3.

Flamengo enthusiasts bring with them a Brazilian carnival atmosphere with lively, pre-match celebrations lasting late into the night

Each club brings its own traditions, chants, and territorial decorations that transform city districts into true football kingdoms. Your ability to honour these traditions while maintaining order will determine your reputation in the football world. Remember that both fans and media will loudly comment on your actions – from tweets and social media posts to statements from supporter group representatives and articles in the sports press.

Take control over every aspect of arena preparation with our five-stage stadium preparation system:

1.

Pitch perfection – Manage turf quality, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping

2.

Team facilities – Customise locker rooms, rehabilitation zones, and tactical analysis equipment

3.

Media areas – Set up press zones, camera positions, and commentary boxes

4.

Fan sections – Design detailed seating arrangements separating rival supporters

5.

Safety measures – Establish buffer sectors and emergency protocols for optimal security

Prepare professional team facilities that meet the standards of world-class clubs, from personalised changing rooms to state-of-the-art warm-up areas.

On the days preceding the match, your city comes alive! Fan zones fill with team colours, from ultras' graffiti and club flags to the carnival atmosphere of family areas. Fans bring their club colours to the streets, with authentic behaviours and real-time reactions – from ultras' flare displays to family pre-match celebrations and traditional club chants.

When thousands of supporters flow through meticulously planned routes and security checkpoints, you'll begin to feel the incredible satisfaction of an organiser. And the greatest reward will be the deafening roar of the stands as players walk onto the perfectly prepared stadium pitch.

1.

"Road to Recognition" Campaign – Lead events of increasing scale and complexity, from a local charity match in Warsaw to a high-stakes final under extreme conditions in Berlin

2.

Single Match Mode – Compete with other players, achieving high ranking scores by organising matches between different clubs in various cities
