DOOM

I gotta admit I wasn't really interested in this game when a friend showed it to me when it first came out, and I didn't actually buy it for a few years after it's release date. Big mistake as when I did start playing, it was so friggen awesome.
It does however start off somewhat slow but don't let that throw you off as it is just letting you warm up to what i s up and coming enjoy that brief period while you can trust me haha!
I'm quite a serious sam fan and love the hordes of fast paced enemy's they have in that franchise, so after playing Doom for a while I was certainly back in heaven for some constant action, don't stand still or you'll die kinda game play. And lets not forget how damm sick the levels look especially the background and demonic speech/symbols/writing everywhere and of course the enemy's who are relentless, which is exactly what I like.
So if you like demons, fast pace action, bloody gore, plenty of challenges to not only get through the levels but to also unlock new ability's for your armor and weapons and how could I forget the epic story which is soo soo good it needs a movie because it's that mad to watch, then this game is for you.
I may have waited too long to snap this up but sure glad I did as I didn't wait for Doom Eternal like I did Doom, I mad sure to pre-order that sucker. So when (NOT IF) you play this and love it , you'll be in another level of sheer pleasure when you buy Eternal as it's even more full on, and involved , it's just plain EPIC. So firggen impressed.......

Beautiful shooter

In some points this game makes a lot of things right, that bothered me in other games: your character is always running, you don't have to reload, awesome soundtrack.
Storywise it's okay, not worth a Pulitzer, but also not just stupid running from A to B. This game was my first try at the Doom Universe and I liked it. Definetely looking forward to following games!
If you are looking for a simple, but beautiful shooter without too much thinking, this is your thing.

Extreme

Best DOOM since Doom II came out.rnIt is just perfect. High action, lots of kills, and extreme brutality.rnrnIf you don't have it, you'll need it.

Review Title

What are you... reading reviews on DOOM? STOP IT NOW AND BUY THE GAME ALREADY!!

Keh, I'm soooo in love with this game . I love EVERY aspect of this game.

Plot - 5 stars. Why? No, not because it's super mega interesting plot, no. It's because it's really fitting this game. DOOM is about killing demons in different brutal games. DOOM is not about surviving, saving, solving problems. No, DOOM is about KILLING DEMONS. And the plot is just perfectly fit in this theme of killing demons. Imagine, if DOOM would had for ex. confusing, difficult plot mixed whith drama, mistical things etc what would that mean? This kind of plot would drive us away from the main theme of the game, from killing demos. We would think about different things and it will ruin ALL atmosphere. But what we have with simple yet perfect simple plot? It gives us the feeling of doing right things, the feeling of punishing evil and punishing it in a straight way(like punching your foe in a face with your fist). And this plot really fits and sets this kind of atmosphere!!
Mechanics - 5 stars. It's just too smooth to play this game. Your DOOM guy shoots and moves like you wish and there is no feeling of viscosity at all.
Music - 5 stars. I love its soundtracks ALL OF THEM!!!

I suggest buying it!

Good reboot

Remember Doom, doom 2 and all of the other custom maps you usually played or made. Well this is it only in 1080p-60fps. Its fast, very fast. You enter a room, shoot demons in the face or balls ( if they have any left) and you go to the next room and so on. Very classic and very fun. Well not so classic cause I remember Doom being an exploration game but this is not it. Its only a fast, full action shotgun style kind of game where you run from room to room in a very linear way. Don't get me wrong, its still a good game. Add that with snapmap mode and you got a lot of replayability.

I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 perfect star cause of the lack of exploration (finding collectable doesn't count) and its focus on arena style. I've read somewhere their engine wouldn't allow a lot of demons spawn so they had to limit it. Their old Doom 2 game didnt have that problem. SPawn over 100 demons and have fun...not this reboot. Still very fun though.

Perfect reboot

Captures everything I liked about the original games, also looks amazing and is really well optimised. Runs smooth as butter.

Really enjoyed this

Nothing will ever recapture the newness of the original doom when it came out. I remember installing it from floppy disks and FPS wasn't even a "genre" yet. Since then the game has had it's missteps, but this one was a real treat. Great graphics and sound. It felt like the 2016 reboot DOOM was meant to have. Run and Gun mayhem with a solid single player campaign. Multiplayer was ok, but not that great. Only got a few hours out of it, but I bought it for single player and definitely got my moneys worth.

10/10 would splatter guts again.

That's real DOOM

For fans of single-player FPS campaigns DOOM is a juggernaut and a lot of fun to play. Multiplayer is so so and good to waste some time on it.

Finally!!

I have been waiting so long for a new Doom game and this didn't disappoint. Great Graphics and gameplay!. As Always the serive is great from the Dragons ;)

Well DOOM it is

Its just like the old DOOM in spirit, you wont get very far until they get you. Its really fun to play and GFX is excelent. Best game i have buy for some time. Highly recomend.

Over the top Kill'house

Need to waste some anger? Frustrated and you need to blow off steam?
Get DOOM... No, seriously, get it.

DOOM is by far a great game, it is exactly like it's original counterpart but with just updated graphics, deadlier weapons and gore'tastic fun. It's fast paced ultra killing gameplay is smooth and easy to take on. The multiplayer is fun too, but recommendations is the single player experience.

Visually it's impressive, the music really pumps you up when your slaughtering demons and the overall environment is great.

The best FPS in years imo

Besides the great and funny gameplay, this is THe game for achievement hunters. Runs smooth witrh 60fps even on older rigs. Totally worth every penny.

Great Game

This game is awesome! The graphics were amazing and the motion felt really fluid. I've only played the single player campaign of this so far but I really enjoyed it!

Awesome Action Shooter

It has all the things you want for nostalgia.

It takes everything you know and love about the previous titles and puts it on steroids. Amazing fast paced gameplay and tons of fun.

DOOM

Started to play for a short time. It is just a nice game with lot of possibilities. It makes a lot of fun and has nice graphics. Even the story is cool. I go on with my playing and just enjoy it......

Return of a legendary game

This game is possibly one of the best games of 2016. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is just as good. Beating monsters back to hell is challenging yet fun. There's an enormous variety of guns to customize how you play the game. Additional power ups give you the ability to craft unique killing sprees.

The game gives you the option to play it either in a 'run & gun' style or explore and find hidden secrets.

The multiplayer option is there for those who want more from the game after beating the campaign.

Game score: 5/5

DOOM GAMMING

I played the first Doom in a old 386 SX and now I played in a I7 4770K with GTX 970 and it has the same good feeling . It ´s one of the best fps that I ever had played. Worth it.

Cool FPS, Brutal fun

Brutal FPS & Brutal fun - what else do you need ? Cool soundtrack, various enemies (you need different tactics for each one), cool "fatality" system, fast tempo, well designed maps. Completed the singleplayer and I really have to recommend it. Multiplayer is also cool - especially new classic death-match mode.

brutal FPS

Doom is essentially a reboot of the legendary first game, and while fans of the original will be disappointed by changes to the health system, the pacing is very good, retaining the "move on to the next group of demons" dynamic. There's an overfocus on melee which, while satisfyingly brutal, does become old after a while, but it still comes across as fresh just because of the abundance of drab military shooters in the market it competes with.

SUPER GAME

What can I say.. Probably the best FPS I played so far.. I had great expectations on this, well this game was so much better. Given that Im an fps sucker, this was a huge nerdgasm.
Big thanks to my friend Timm that let me play this awesome game.
Everything was perfect: the ost, the gameplay, graphics, story.
It's a must play unless you hate fps or you get scared by some blood and demons.
Gonna be my GOTY of this year Im sure.

best game

Doom is a reboot of the cult license id Software dipping into the style of the first two games. You will thus play as a Marine forced to repel an invasion of demons on Mars, using an arsenal ranging from shotguns to rocket launchers. it's a great game really .

Review Title

if u have played original doom, unreal tournament, quake 3 and u loved them, then u will love this one to. It brings back good memories when fps shooters rocked. SP is great and MP my god love it.

A gory fps

I don't normally play fps games but all my friends wouldn't shut-up about the game so i thought i would give it a try.
A very gory game with lots of blood but not much of a story.
If you enjoy kicking demon butt then you will enjoy this game.
graphics are amazing, 3 boss battles and many hidden secrets but even with all this i still prefer my 3rd person rpgs.

Little Problems with delivery but NICE price and NICE game

Yes i had to wait 3 Hours and not 2 but i saved a lot of money for a brand new game. Key activation etc no problems. Thx a lot!

Fun and runs very well

I've been playing Doom 1, like really with my 29 years, no shooter so happy, yet makes the new Doom much fun. The graph looks very good, the levels are great, designed, and although the game has no real story, it makes a lot of appetite for more.
Incidentally, the Time in the campaign in my estimation are above average. One thinks one is soon by and then it's always on. Great!

Excellent

My dad told me all about him playing the original doom when he was younger and he was shocked at how much better it looks now. Fast paced, over the top gory, action shooter. Very fun. Cool multiplayer and superb graphics.

Travelling back in time!

Loved the originals and love this game. Great fun, little storyline but great to blast away a few aliens of an afternoon.

Yet again GamingDragons delivered on time and at a great price!

Most Fun I've Had in a SP Shooter in Ages

I haven't been able to put this down since I got it a week ago and I expect to play through the SP campaign a few times. I haven't really been into the modern shooters lately, but this one really did it for me. I think it's something about the satisfying weapons with interesting and meaningful unlocks, plus the oldschool system of powerups and hidden things.

Bone Crunching Fun for the Whole Family

This is what Doom was meant to be. In all its HD glory. The hits feel so real as you break their demon bones. Ripping limbs off as if they were chicken wings. Well..... It can happen to you too..... Be careful... Every shot counts.
